Applicants employed by foundations of less than $250 million endowment may request a $900 scholarship. Requests are considered on the basis of balancing the session for a diversity of applicants and job positions as well as a diversity of foundation types and geographic representation.
Up to five scholarships will be awarded. Applying for a scholarship does not guarantee a session seat. Qualified applicants wishing to guarantee a seat while being considered for a scholarship, may pay in full and simultaneously apply for scholarship consideration. If selected for a scholarship based on the criteria given above, a $900 refund will be tendered. If not selected for a scholarship, a seat in the course is guaranteed at the full price already paid. Cancellation policies apply.
Courses for The Grantmaking School are reserved for grantmaking professionals with at least two years of experience and currently employed by a foundation. Applicants meeting these criteria will be sent a final registration form with payment information. Enrollment is open to 24 grantmakers for each course; a seat is guaranteed with full tuition payment. Tuition inclues all course materials, breakfast and lunch during the session. Travel, lodging and evening meals are excluded. Early registration saves $50 off the tuition price.
Tuition for each course is as follows:

* A $250 discount is available to applicants that have attended the Advanced Proposal Analysis course. Please indicate if you are an alumni under the General Questions/Comments section of the online application. Please note that the alumni discount and scholarship cannot be combined.
